Fertility Agreement

1. Health & Safety

By booking a fertility appointment, the client confirms:

• Their dog is fit and healthy, with up to date vaccinations.
• The dog has no known medical conditions that would make mating, scanning or whelping support unsafe.
• Any relevant health history, prior litters, or fertility issues have been disclosed.

The client agrees to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or behavioural issues, and any injuries, lumps, bumps, or areas the dog does not like being touched.

2. No Guarantee of Outcome

Fertility services carry inherent biological uncertainty. The client understands that we cannot guarantee a successful mating, a confirmed pregnancy, or a live, healthy litter, regardless of the service booked.

3. Behaviour & Safety

The client agrees:

• Dogs must be safely secured on arrival and collection.
• If a dog behaves aggressively or poses a safety risk, we may stop the appointment and charge for the time spent.

4. Medical Emergencies

If a dog becomes ill or injured during an appointment, or during whelping support:

• We will take reasonable steps to contact the client immediately.
• If the client cannot be reached, we may seek veterinary treatment at the nearest available practice.
• The client is responsible for all veterinary costs incurred.

5. Photographs & Social Media

The client agrees that:

• We may take photos of the dog and, where relevant, the litter.
• Photos may be used for business promotion, including social media and websites.
• You can opt out of this on the request form (tick if you do NOT consent to photos being used publicly).

6. Payment & Cancellations

The client agrees:

• Payment is due at the time of service.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee.

7. Liability

We will always act with care, professionalism, and the dog's welfare as the priority. However, the client understands:

• We are not liable for issues arising from pre-existing conditions or behaviour.
• We are not responsible for any injury or damage caused by the dog on the premises.
• We are not liable for the outcome of a mating, pregnancy, or whelping, given the inherent biological uncertainty involved.
